Hey all, well I have been wanting to / needing to put up a site for a long, long time

anyhow I did it yesterday, sat down and said OK put up a site ! so this is what came out. I really Hope you guys like, this board has been a very big inspiration over the years and what not, I hope to put more up to date pics on the site seeing that most of these images are somewhat old, aside from the photos. Anyhow I hope you guys like

Very nice design, especially the first african logo. It would be nice with some sort of Home link, I noticed that you could click the digital day logo to get home, but the home links make it easier. Just a tip.

How did you make the border round the links, is that tables?

and yes the links are inside tables, all controlled by CSS, one more thing.. umm I'm not sure what pic your talking about ? as far as african logo ? and no I dont mind

hehe, I thought it looked kind of African...hehe. It�s picture number 2 in the photography library. Is it clothes that is hanging on the line or drape or something?

your work is very good, but you should put more things in the welcome page (more pics and more news) news mustn't be very important things: when you want you post anything about you (it's your page after all

in the gallery you should put thumbails with more more more height keeping this width (tall picture

and suggest a mood for the pic on the top, the sky is not very expressive, you should change colors and put spreading clouds (sthing cooler) and the pic just on the bottom of it should ahve the same tonal color and fill all the space of the canvas.

OK now that you have enough critics, there is work expecting you ;-)

like how the headers change, in your link section you forgot to put the http:// in front of the art related sites so it links under your site....

There's a few things I noticed if you don't mind:

� I can't quite decide wether you're going for a very clean or very graphic'y style. Your tables and buttons would certainly suggest the first, but the use of happy graphics (huge ones too), shadows and other bits and bobs makes it very contradictory.

� Watch your gutters. Your text is on the table line on a few occasions.

� Imho, your section header graphics take up WAY too much space. I don't want to have to scroll down your contact page at 1024x768 to view all three items

� Make the whole area of your buttons a button instead of just the text. I've included a text file with code for how to do so here (save target as)

� The dotted blue line is just... not nice

� The top digital day image is far too colorful for the rest of the site and detracts from the viewing impression as your eye is draw up there... lower the saturation or change the graphic =)

� A suggestion would be to make the section header graphics much smaller, and then make 4 or so of each and have them be random.

� Write some kind of image description for each image or series...

Other then that it's fine 'n dandy... I'd like a bit more text content... =)

Hi all, Thanks for all your comments and crits. I am working on fixing some of the issues that you and some other people have pointed out( content etc ). As far as the style goes, its not ment to fallow any type really. Im Just haven some fun with design really, Fallowing a style or type like that just seem kind of boring to me, and sense it a personal site I can finally do something that's just for myself really. Anyhow Ill post again as soon as Iv fixed some of the issues, anyhow thanks again for all your comments
