Just finished watching Toy Story 2 for the first time. Grouse flick! @:-) Anyway, was inspired by Pixar's beginnings shown on the DVD, so thought I'd have a whack at it.

[EDIT] Just zipped these movies, so changing the filenames.
http://brain.gamekey.com/movie/lamp_ball.zip - 73Kb, Divx codec.
http://brain.gamekey.com/movie/lamp_n_ball.zip - 484Kb Non Divx

http://brain.gamekey.com/movie/lamp_sad.zip - 54Kb Divx

Took me 2 hours total. Probably a little quick, but still goodly. Enjoy!

Brain you're a GEEK! You're so un-russian ehheh and they say you were born in Ciberia.. eeheh anyway there.
So i went to see two other movies which were very cool. First one was crap because it was damn StarWers, and second kicked ass because it was HalfLife!

Oh ya i do think you should stick to 3d stuff, trust your russian buddy shizo on this.

PS: wher's my drunken lamp animation yet??????!!@????##?????????!@%

Brian that's some awesome personification of some lamps! I love those movies, that's awesome how you can get a object to have feelings. How did you animate those lamps? IK? bones?

Shizo: Glad to hear you enjoyed my other films. But who told you I was from Siberia?? *flicks off safety on sidearm* And the drunken lamp is coming! Thanks for the idea.

coconutmonkey: Equally glad to hear you enjoyed them too. I've only animated them through simple rotating and moving. I found bones or modifiers too technical for this. That and I haven't mastered them. @:-)

HAAAAA GRRRRR#@&@&& RIIWEeeeeeeeeeee....

That lamp looked like ME yesterday! And a day before.. and a day before that... and... well you know!

Anyway i finally got the POS sh*$*^y DIVX codec, so you aren't required to render normal codec anymore heheh. I did it just for you! Now my computer is dirty but i can see your movies, weeee...

BTW i tried 3dMAX and mine had lazer hitting a glass ball on it with same wooden table as yours.. 3dmax is hard ehhh

Finally tell me how you recorded those movies, a web camera can do that or what?

PIECE OUSSIDE!
