hi,
i was just wondering if there are some sort of tutorials about graffiti-lettering or so. because i suck at styling cool graffiti-like logos, i just don't know how to draw cool letters but maybe you have to have it in your blood or something, dunno. |

Wouldn't having "How to do Graffiti" books kinda defeat the purpose entirely? |

I guess there is no such thing like a graffiti tutorial. I mean graffiti has something to do with style and if there would be such thing you would just copy his style of writing. Try to develope your own unique technique. Write the letters you want to tag or you want to make a piece of. Then think about em. Try different types of connecting them. Think about what you want to express with your letters. Perhaps you let the letters look melted or like rocks or devoured in a more complex fragile way. Don't give up if you don't get a good result at your first attempt. It takes from 1 hour to 2 weeks till I find a convincing solution.
But if you really can't find a satisfying way to paint your piece and if you don't even can think up more than 2 different ways to tag then give it up and look for another way to express yourself. There are too many sprayer around without any skills anyway. At least in germany...
