Just a quickie. No direct reference for the clouds so they may look a bit odd. I might get round to putting some detail into the subject as well.

Wow, that's really nice! The colors you used look great, except for a few places where the yellow goes into green - doesn't look quite right. But it's a really incredibly dynamic sky, and a good composition too. And I thinkt the bird silhouette fits the scene very well. As it stands, I would suggest keeping it a silhouette, but I'm sure if you were to color it in I'd be even more impressed. YAY!

i love the clouds! but, i'd remove the lightnings, they look a bit unrealistic and pseudo-dramatic. also, the sillhouette looks like someone pasted a corel draw clipart over a really cool cloudpicture i'd colorize the bird.

Lovely! I like how the perfectly traced line of the bird "collides" with the hyperrealism of the clouds.
And the lightings look good, and they add to the general mood.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

I've updated the original version.

waylon: Thanks! I know what you mean about the colour blending. I'm using layers in Photoshop which means that the yellow blends into the black to give that green colour.

robotriot: LOL!

Rinaldo: Thanks! You still working on that cloud pic?

RobT: Cheers, in Scotland we tends to see alot of clouds... often.

Jaymo: Thankyou.

Ragnarok: Thanks! I've tried to keep that strong outline in the updated version.

Bright but well chosen colors. Nice details on the bird too. I think the background is little too detailed, with the lightnings(which are still very nice) and all, and distracts some attention from the bird tho.
