Not posting this for critique or anything-just loved the sky last night, ran inside and painted it. Of course the real thing was infinitely more impressive. The ring around the moon was far larger than usual, and there were clouds hanging from one side as though the circle were a speeding sphere, and they were trailing behind. There was also a very thick straight line of clouds stretching from horizon to horizon. Very beautiful, I hope my pitiful little image can give you an inkling of its grandeur.
