I originally posted this as a sketch to Draw Club last month. I wanted to try out a new coloring technique on both the Plunger and the background, and found myself pleased with the result. However I would like suggestions and crit as to what I could have done differently.

I like the linework and the character, but
i think the colour job with textures make it look flat. Also since you have a thick outline it would manage best with a single colour or something simillar in the bg. I don't think the background fits the style you've chosen. Just my opinion.

Well, I agree with Micke. You have a good pose there, but the outline and the colouring makes it kinda dull I think. Also the ellipses on the bucket needs some more work.the lower ellipse should be more open than the upper ellipse. Cool character though!
