Well, I think I might have some helpful advise for you. first let me start by saying you've got some ability on you but never let that go to your head. an artist's first downfall is doubting himself, the second is being too overconfident! but, let's save that for the future! right now, just practice, practice, practice!!! you've got a good start, but i really thik you need to start drawing larger! yes supporting your art is and will become very expensive for you! but love is all about the sacrifice!!! i deffinately think drawing larger, and also don't be afraid to get larger drawing pads and using the entire page for one figure scetch! sure you use up papper faster, but in the end you benefit 100%. if you dont like the drawing you have use the lesser filled areas of the paper to draw more focused studies of the areas that were giving you trouble in the first place!! one last thing, make it a point to draw with a much more bolder and confident lines! sure you can lightly scetch your way to feel around for the right line, but after you've got a pretty good idea of where you are going just make the line with a sharp bold stoke! well i guess you've heard enough from me, give it a try and let me know how i works out for you!!! |

Good start like Miconius said. I'd go along with what he says. Darker lines, and vary the widths and strength to show change in direction and distance. (Closer, darker) it creates excitement when you vary your lines. |
