Everything seems to be at a slightly different perspective making the ship look twisted.

looks ok to me - maybe the perspective is a bit off.. dunno..
you could add some panels and bolts and stuff to the hull or some antennae maybe

hmmm.... Looks just like the Vulture from starcraft, only there's a cockpit instead of a seat....

you may want to try this, duuno if this will help you, i like to do this from time to time.. Draw a geometric figure in perspective and start extending it in dif directions in the same way you would extrude polygons. You can come up with something interesting. Drawing many landmars in dif directions on a surface can result in something interesting too. |

I really like the way you colored it, looks like stuff you'd see in design books.
Only problem I can see is that for a ship, it doesn't look very aero dynamic. It's hard to picture a machine with such hard and rough edges to fly. I would suggest blending some of the segmented shapes into one another, to get more of a feel of a unified hull structure. If not, add some treads or wheels to it and it'd make an awesome attack land vehicle of some sort. |

tanks for da replyz
mc steeed - yeah i see what you are saying, good tip man. Didnt really think of
lining everything up like that. I'll do that to even it out.
Nex - cheers bud, wasn't too sure bout the perspective either but I think mcsteeds
tip will help.. yeah I still wanna add some more details to it. just everything
looked bent what was buggin me I kinda wanted to sort that first...
Loukas - I drew the ship straight from the head, no ref used. I haven't actually
seen the vulture from starcraft soo I guess thats just a coincidence.. Hopefully
a good one If you have a link to a pic of it then post it up here, I'm curious
to see what it looks like now.
yoshi - hmm, I don't really understand what you mean.. Can you show me an example?

Hi Vo, thanks alot I understand what you are saying.. I don't really want to lose
the details too much but I'll try blending it in some more to make it look more as a
whole.. I don't think I'll add wheels/treads to this one but You've just inspired me
to do something else now |
