Hey all. I am having major problems with my web-page. It works swell if viewed through Internet Explorer, but Netscape and the page, ain't talking.
Any ideas? I want to fix this before I really dedicate time to my page. Any help is appreciated.

use some asp to filter all thouse people that use crapscape into a page that has a big picture saying "we all know microflop is trying to take over the world but its time to grow up and get IE"
Speeking from experiance netscape does not like style sheets and the input box's will pants up compleatly... infact anything fancy they will fuck up on...even the bourders on table frames go strange...netscape is the bain of my life!

on second thoughts....
me thinks the image on the second page (lemurhead.jpg) is a little to large it took me time (and a half) to D/L over the T1 here at work. and the link to me.htm does not work u have pointed it @ me.html (oops that one always gets me to. dagnamit!) apart from that it should all work what ever browser u r using...at least i think so.... |

Hey, Dr.Bof, are you pickin' a fight against us who DO use netscape? Well, are ya, punk!?
Naah, just kiddin.
Though I wouldn't touch IE with a 20 foot stick. I like my browser to crash and NOT take down the whole OS with it.
Hey, let's make this into a flaming IE vs. Netscape thread!
Oh, btw. nice site Lemur-X.

Th anks for all the hhelp. I have a simple rerouting page up front now. The reason it took Dr. Bof so long to view the image, and get broken links was due to the fact I was uploading stuff at the time. One upload of the main page had faulty links.
Thanks for the help all.

i understand why you dont like IE, you mentioned you liked your browser to crash (???) well of course you wouldnt like IE since it doesnt know a word "crash", but from my experience NS can give you what you want and a lot of it. after using NS for 2 years (2 years now i have my own computer) and few months ago when i just HAD to download IE5 for web design purpose i never clicked on NS icon ever since
i guess ther's nothing more to say about which browser is better
PS: though i liked the l33t layout and simple bookmarks of NS

is there any point in mentioning that IE would be nothing without ripping off Netscape and then Microsoft clamming up on the APIs?
It does suck, but i hope it doesn't die for all our sakes

don't get me wrong i don't like microwank but the fact is that all the more advanced features on the web actually work with IE it does crash on acation (as does anything under windows [NT or otherwise]) but it is (in my humble opinion) the superior product

What, I'm all alone with the netscape I do love?
Shizo: never crashed? Wow. I've tried IE 4.0, like maybe 4 times on my machine. It crashed once. 1/4 doesn't look too hot.
But yeah, I think Microsoft have gone beyond just stealing some ideas, and have actually done improvements...BUT, I have high hopes about NS5... Developed by the ppl, for the ppl! Right on.
And it's worth supporting Netscape if just to avoid having Microsoft slap that Internet[(R)(C)(TM) Microsoft Co.]<-- *brrrr*

I can tell you all right now, that I'd be using Netscape over IE in a heartbeat if I had it on my puter. I just prefer it's layout for some odd reason. Used it for years, and I don't like how IE *feels*, or the fact that there are HTML tags that bar Netscape from functioning correctly. Shit-tay.
