Hi all,
I post an unfinished image of an F50 and I d like to have some critics on the body painting.
Only the body.
What do you think about the reflection and shadow. Have you some trick to share in order to raise the realist of the body
Thanks for your time!

Hiya rene, that pic is looking sweet!
The only crit I would make is regarding the two dark areas on the left side of the fender(just up from where the license plate would be) from our viewpoint. It kinda looks like the car has been dented?
BTW - I'm not talking about the two large resesses on the fender, I'm talking about 2 areas of dark shading on our left above the license plate.
Apart from that, great stuff. Do you do this for a living? |

If anyone's interested, I started a post about your favorite cars in Random Musings. Naturally, the F50's there Lotta other cool cars there Go check it out!
Nice pic! I'd like to see the finished version a lot.

awesome!!!
i hardly ever see artwork done of cars on this forum, very cool!
everything seems to be in proportion etc, the only thing that i would advise is the front part of the vechicle the lines are not as crisp as they are in the back, you can see alot of the lines are very wobbly and some what smudged, think CRISP, HARD, SHARP lines and i think this will help improve the realism as well as some of the reflections.

Thanks all for your comments.
I try to fix it and post an image update probably next week.
It tooks me about 50 hours getting this results. The problem is that I
have too many layers to work with. About 30 layers.

Hi all,
I updated my car a bit, but I have some difficulty to render good looking Spot and flasher.
I already know that these have to be very transparent!
If someone very skilled in glass render could make me an exemple!:d
I would be very happy!
By the way. Vracky is my new nickname
