Im just curious if anybody here knows the name and creator of the painting hanging above the hospitalbed in the named movie...
If I remember right its a sunset in a narrow river valley...with some african animals.
I think its great, and wanna see it without having to turn on the movie... |

wild suggestion here, but check the credits, around the end of the credits they give credit for stuff they used in the movie(soft drinks, labels). there migth be something about it, maybe an art gallery where they got it or something. |

Hey there, not sure if this is what you're looking for...check it out:
http://www.worcesterart.org/Collection/American/1934.65.html
The artist painted over 60 versions of the painting displayed in the link above. So if thats the wrong one, it may be one of the others. Of course, I may be completely wrong...as I don't have a copy of the movie sitting around here at work. I'm just going off of what a google search came up with...Later.

speaking of the peaceable kingdom, I just saw it at the Terra Museum in Chicago this weekend. There was another one, I forget by whom though. It was really cool, it was similar to the pic you just posted, but had people in it, it was a scene from the last of the mohicans. I think thats the title. It looked better than the pic youve posted (which still looks great!) |
