First off i understand that this prolly does belong in ramblings section, but i fail to check there often. I belive this has merrit of being discussed by all even tho i hate hardware discussions.

Ok heres the deal, IBM has shipped a 22" monitor capable of 200DPI onscreen resolution. heres a excerpt from the article i read. "The new displays have a 3,840-by-2,400 resolution, which translates to 204 pixels per square inch, or 9 million pixels overall."
The way i look at this it could be a extreme advancement as they claim to have actual photograph quality onscreen. Sounds nice to me. But another thing is my computer crawls when i get into 3k x 2k 300 dpi resolutions.
But im sure matte painters or whoever else deals with such hi rez paintings may fall in love at the idea.
also to try n make it not such of a bad offence of me putting this in the digital art forum i made a quick progress image maybe someone could help me out a lil also. im tryin to use what [Danny] told me to do about using a soft brush to blend in my colors and select a inbetween to keep it smooth. i saw him show how to use a quick mask to blend in line drawings into the coloring i havent had a chance to try that yet but i will later on.
