Here is another original picture of mine from a comic i did called DeathAngel. Deathangel was a comic I created and published by Lightning Comics. This pic is part of a double page spread of a small demon called Scrum. He was conjuring his powers in the pic. Looking for any crit or comments. Thanks and I hope you like it

John

I'm not sure I could tell you what is going on in my eyes. But it seems very busy in that bottom half of the page. Prolly all the line work. Which is a kind of style on some of those comic guys now adays. Maybe you have to many though?

Prolly should have posted this under your other post you started, help keep the forum cleaner.

Cool style. Reminds me of Erick Something, the dude that drew Savage Dragon for Image comics. I met that dude at a comic con. You should see how he holds his pencil, you wouldn't belive me if I told you. WOw... Someone should start a forum that has a pic of everyones grip-pose for holding their pencil. Some people are just weird how they hold a pencil! LOL

ZiFF!

Thanks for the comments. I Know Erik Larsen, in fact I worked with him. He hired me to draw a 4 issue mini series called THE DEADLY DUO. Those were great times. Erik is a real cool dude and I'm still a huge fan of his even though I dont read comics much anymore.

Larsen, thats it! Wow, thas coo you got to work with him. Did you see how he held his pencil or what? LOL Or was it like over the phone/net comic deal?

What/who are you drawing for now-a-days? If ya don't mind me asking. I always like the Malibu/Ultraverse comic companys. Do you just do the line work?

I met Erik in person on a couple occasions, but I worked freelance for him as I did with all my comic work. Most comic artists work Freelance. Todd McFarlane also hired me to draw a series he created called Boof.

Speaking of Malibu, I did a comic for them called RUNE. That was very cool.

Nowadays I am a sculptor but am getting back into comics. Unfortunately the industry is not the same as it used to be at all. It is a market that has shrunk considerbly.

I think I am going to do something of an online comic. Drawn, both Pencil and Inking and coloring.
