hey guys..
this is two drawings i did.. with my tablet and photoshop.. i want to get the marvel effect.. does anyone have any critics? that would be nice..
well i think i got the hang of the faces.. so that they look like faces.. i have a lot to go before they look good.. but i was wondering if anyone knows any good anatomy books? i want to finish a body for once but i dunno anatomy stuff properly and i need a book (or a few) to read so i can get the hang of it.. i have a short budget so an anatomy encyclopedia or anything would be hard..

well i updated my pic.. i cleaned it and added more defined lines and tried colouring the face.. any crits please?.. + any good anatomy books?..

They looks pretty nice. I like the top one.
Try inking with smoother lines though.
As for books, I got no idea, sorry.

Nice start ..

for the boks go to a decent newsagency and buy a pile of marvel comics..

and look through thema bit then copy a few of them them look through them a bit more ...

then you'll learn a bit how the the forms are.

note that some of the artists are a bit rough in anatomy skill in some pictures..

they exagerate and improvise alot..
