Hi Flex
Your stuff keeps amazing me, keep it up!
I'd like to see a little more contrast in your work... otherwise I really dig your style.
And those characters of yours, just keep getting better.

oooh ooh, Immi's getting excited. Btw, where is this new comic going to be appearing Elf boy? At a local bookstore, at your site, or do you have something even more devious up your sleave?

Cold. That snow is filling my eyes but I can still see a great picture there. Nice view angle too. Can't come up with any crits. Waiting eagerly for the big show.

That looks pretty.. cool. (hehe..pun intended) I don't think Viking when I see it though. Just cause I've always thought Vikings had blonde hair ya know? Just cause in that time period they were all Norwegian and blonde was the dominant trait. Growing up I never saw brunettes in Viking stories. Just my opinion. |

Swweeeeet. Of all the vikings I've ever seen, yours are the best.
Speaking of vikings, I went to my friendly neighbourhood chapters, and there was a viking there. He was a huge man, sharp jaw, line tatoo across his face like your viking (cept more intricate) and he was wearing a huge black coat. It was cool.
Anyway, thats my story. |

Rinaldo:
Ko: Yes I am truley a fan of gloom.. hehe
Seph: thank ya kindly
Skeezer:Well only time will tell if it'll rock.. hehe. Thank ya
immi: This one will probably just be web, but I always have something devious up a sleeve, under a collar or up a pant leg.
Rhomb: Thanks!
Chapel: believe it or not his dark hair is intentional. He's a 'black sheep'. The story is kinda prodigal-son-dark-tower-kurosawa-ish one.
Malorum: Glad you like! His resemblance to me is purely coincidental
Superbug: Thanks! I love photoshop
Isric: That's coo. I kinda half did the face mark because I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep it or not. But I kinda like it.
Liquid!: Gracias! I appreciate it.

Man I love your work.
I think the girl's outfit could use a little more to it, as far as looks are concerned.
Maby the snow on the ground could look a little less fluffy. It's kinda pillow like. Maby Im wrong though, I am origanaly from Texas and snow isn't the most comen thing there.
Man thats great.
Blitz....Teacher of the great ones. |

Thanks again guys (broken record)
Yeah I'll work a bit to try to keep the snow that fluffy. It's the land of Dairy Queen syndrome

If you ever need character ideas FE let me know. I think I kinda know what you are doing. You've actually given me an idea for what I think would be a great comic, but doesn't really have anything to do with the one you are making right now. |

Blitz: In photoshop I primarily use the paintbrush tool (hard and custom brushes) set to normal with and without stylus opacity checked. But always stylus size checked. Very rarely do I use the airbrush. That's only when I want extreme subtlety or a haze of some sort. Other than that pretty much nothing. But this time I did cheat and I made a layer of snow and motion blurred it a tad. I'm going to hell but I already knew that.
time_101: the post up top with the picture I addressed her lack of big fuzzy clothing
Chapel: Yeah I'll definitely let you know. I'd be interested in seeing what ideas you came up with for the other comic.
/me begins work on the strip.

I think some more values could be put on her like the man in front of her has, and maybe a bit more detail, she seems a little unfinished. Or was that the way she was supposed to turn out? Either way is cool.
