Kind of a big DL-

This is the design of the home page I'm doing for my portfolio web-site in class. How does it come across to you?

What kind of person does this make you think of?

just curious how this image comes across.

Thanks for looking.

Here's a sketch I'm working on in photoshop. I'm going to head this one off before it starts. It does look a lot like alien, this is just a sketch, I repeat, a sketch. haha. anyway here goes...

Thanks for your time, sorry if it took a while.

later

Well of cours they are rad, I mean alot of your stuff is. Ok all of it.

As a critique....well.....I would work on the eyes of the robot guy for your website. Maby make them glow a little more so that they light up part of his face. It also seems that some of the stuff on the site page is crisp and clean like it should be and other stuff is a bit blury. This is kinda distracting.....to me anyway.

As for the tabaco chewing Alian look alike, I like him. He seems to be more of a sketch so I will not say anything.

Well enough of my supirior wisdom, it is alot to handle at one time so I understand if you take a couple days to brake it down and understand it.
hehe

Good stuff on both of those, but I would suggest making one or two areas of the web design stand out more then the other areas. Right now all of the elements are bleeding together due to the similar tones. Maybe making the shading on the face a bit harsher, and fading most of the reast of it into the background.

The alien (no relation to giger) is coming along nicely. give it an inner jaw, I like those

The anatomy on your robo-head seems a bit off. Mostly its left eye... it's a bit far up, and we can see a bit too much of it. His nose seems a bit odd as well, but that might just be in relation to his eyes... Hmm. Now that I think about it, you've got a bunch of stuff going in different directions. His earmuff (?) and jaw seem to be in the same plane, which is good, but then the inverted "A" shape on his forehead seems to be at about a 45 degree angle to them, when it should be 90 degrees. Then his face, for the most part, is in line with that. So I guess you would either need to change the back half of his head to fix this, or his face. The back half would be harder to fix, but if you changed his face, he might be looking the wrong way.

Oh, one other thing, you might consider adding some color to the shadows + highlights. It would add a lot, I think.
