I did this in an hour, just playing around in photoshop. I did it without any references and with a mouse. If I ever get a tablet Im sure they'll look better. Please give me any advice or crit.
edit: lets add one more, old one redone with darker effects

Hey, man!
Oh. I haven't seen these before. These are quite nice. The first one is very moody. Like it. Look like you use quite soft brushes. These would look much more better if you used more sharpen edges on these. Just a thought.
I think that there are some anatomy problems on the last piece. Not much but a bit.

YourMum: Well, the picture you posted is, in itself, a tad wrong (proportin-wise). The hipbone should be moved up, the width of the ribcage decreased, and the head increased [Usually 6.5 heads high for men, 5.5 to 6 for the average woman] in size. Just wanted to point that out.
