I'm an art major at The College of New Jersey (Trenton State) and my Design class is a blemish on my otherwise great curriculum. I have learned nearly nothing from the class. The studio classes have been good practice and I have improved a bit, but feel like I'm getting ripped off.
Can anyone suggest books on composition and design that might compensate for the lack of direction I get from my class? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I don't mind high priced or out of print books!
