Finally...(Retroviridae.com) is released on behalf of my completion of it. Its basically a relaunch of the old retroviridae and is now a more detailed showcase and repository of my photography. I also created a new section entitled 'graphical insights', where I feature some of the most distinctly beautiful sites out there. Most of site's feel is somewhat like that of Lamp*post and yet different at times. After working for hours on this I finally am able to release this 4th version of retroviridae. I regret however that I wasn't able to launch in correspondence with Corax's page who has not completed it yet. I hope all of you can give me some comments and suggestions as to how you feel about it. [Also once i get my new guestbook working please sign the guestbook ]

it is very nice. it is well designed and thought out. the only thing that i absolutly HATE is the way it enlarges itself. although this is very unique, and quite innovative, most websurfers will get uneasy with the change to their screens. "DUH.....how do I close this out?" is the response you are asking for with this.
other than that, the site is very beautiful and graceful. a very nice design. |

Well done ! I have to admit popups and fullsceens are a tad rude, but I can make an excpetion for this one
Suggestions ? One. It'd be nice to see a little less wasted space along the top border. Pehaps trim it by 1/3 ... hmmm ? |

Really nice design and easy to navigate, a good showcase of your work. Although I don't like not having an option to minimize/resize the site. I realize you want to have full control of the screen but keep in mind it is still the web and people multitask while things load (yeah yeah, they can alt-tab..) Also you have a different interface/aspect for the showcase selection when you select a piece, I dont see a reason why it can't be in the same interface/aspect as the rest of the site in order to maintain some sense of continuity other than color schemes.
Looks good though, and I'm glad I'm on DSL
