Would like to thank those that welcomed me into the forum. I'm almost hesitant about posting this image since it's in it's infancy. But, I would love some comments about it. The fire seems to be begging for some reworking and at the moment I'm trying to visualize the highlights on the grasses above. I want to sit something under the toadstool, probably a toad , but just not sure what to do. If anyone has some suggestions, please fire away.
Also have one question: I'm really trying to capture more light in my scenes, especially the type of light seen through trees during a dense fog. I have tried several methods in Photoshop, but just can't get the rays to work. Any tutorials or suggestions out there on light rays or light in general. Dhabih's image of the fallen knight in the rain is somewhat the type of light I'm after.
Thanks again.
Here's the image: Firelight (work time 1 hr)....
