On another board I post at they have html and [img] turned on in the signature section. It actually turns out pretty well and allows everyone to sort of express themselves at a glance. It might be kinda cool to turn on here, us being artists and all.

On the board I have it so if you click on it, youll email me. People try to keep them around 20k or so, and not to tall. It gets really interesting when people make flash signatures that move and such, most people there arent very artistic though One guy has a collection of games in his flash sig, you can play pong or a sidescrolling shooting game or a couple others, it's pretty neat

I don't think that's neccessary. Instead of concentrating on art, everyone will be playing with the damn Sigs. Make better use of you time. Besides the loading times and uneccessary cluter.

I love individuality and expression (don't we all? We're artists!!!), but I've been to other forums where people have sigs all over the place and it ends up becoming a huge mess. Some are really tall (or wide), which makes for more scrolling, some are ugly, some are cool, and they do require downloading, although people with good connections won't notice much. True, if we all followed a certain guideline, this wouldn't be an issue, but there's always goofballs out there that simply don't care and do whatever they want I'd rather look at new art instead of the same old sig pic everytime, too.

So........ I've always come back to the organization, cleanliness, and professional look of this forum. Just my 2 cents! It'll be curious to see what other people think of this topic.

Go, Dhab, for running this place!

To tell you the truth, I like it the way it is. Small, concise sigs with no distracting pics. You concentrate on what you should and it keeps everything looking neat and tidy - and saves on annoying download time.

Yes I agree, there would always be some idiot with huge signature or with something that is just barely compressed and it would kill my bandwidth. It would just take too long to load up all the time. Cool idea though! (Maybe in five years when the internet speeds up a little, and if sijun is still alive and kicken')
