Can't say that I've ever seen a tut on how to draw feet/shoes (probably why no-one has responded). Ones on hands are a little bit easier to come by.

Maybe post the concept sketch that you are working on and people on the forum might be able to give you a few pointers

I have a couple of books that have some great tutorials on feet, hands, head, limbs, torso that are recent books (published in 99 I think)...

When I get home I will scan the pages for you to use.

once fred and spooge are done with their shoe tutorials, could they please get started on tutorials for how to draw pinkies? I'm having MAJOR difficulties with those

come on, how hard are shoes, you have about 2 points where they can bend, and only 1 full range of motion point (ankle) like it's been said, study other people's drawings.... and your own shoes!

get a shoe. put it on the table in front of you. draw it. thats it. or would you rather i give you the magikal formula for how to draw a shoe? i would start with an elipse......or a bean shape.......then i would get a shoe, stick it in the table in front of me and draw it....... almost every person who has ever a drawing class in college or wherever has had to draw a shoe in still life studies, others draw eggs on crumpled cloth, maybe some trash thrown together......just draw. its fun. take off your shoe, look at your foot and draw it. are you a lazy cheater? then take a picture of your foot and trace it. you have reference right there in front of you..... its not like you are asking to draw the human heart, which you cannot see easily from wherever you stand, but you just have to look down. theres a foot (and if you happen to not have feet, i appologize now.....) sometimes the solution you are looking for can be right under your........(yes, i am gonna say it...) nose. er, foot....uh, ankle.....whatever. draw what you see....if it comes out looking all jacked up, draw it again, cause until you can immitate what you see in real life with your pencil... pay attention to proportion.... blah blah blah....

i want french fries! have fun

I would really appreciat if you scan those pages StormVermin..

OK... the shoe thing might be a little stupid.... i have never went on any speciell art classes, just the one's in school and we have never drawn shoes actually....
or have i... yes... i think i did it in 7 grade.... but that was some time ago...

well... i will put up a shoe on my table and try draw it....

but a tutorial on a foot would be great....

Well - I went to use the scanner and it seems to be FUBAR.

If you can wait until Monday - I'll scan them from school then post them on here in a NEW Subject.

Cool?
