I'm new but not new here... I registered way back when the forum just started. But I finally decide to post, because I feel like I'm at a stage where I can post art without being laughed at.

Anyway, any comments at all? I know I still have to color it.

Man, just check this forum two three times a day, and you'll learn ever so much.

If you want to laugh at people who post their crap-on-a-stick artwork and act as if it were all that, go to 3dLuvr Now enter any contest and scroll to the bottom of the page.
You are almost sure to find some of the worst cg out there, and some commentaries like: "This was rendered in 3dstudio max and modeled in poser. It was inspired by..." Now let me tell you something about modeling in poser, the word I'd use is theft. Importing a prebuilt model is not all that difficult.

Anyway, sorry for the rant. I guess what I'm trying to say is: "You're the man for actually working on your stuff, and not posting crap".

Now a little criticism: try shading him with a wider range of values.
If this is not a digital original, trace it. Put it on a window and trace it. Then try shading the traced copy. You can give it a lot of dimention by simply picking a light source and rendering/putting in the cast shadows. Also, try making an imaginary floor, and putting in a shadow. Shade the environment around him with a medium or light gray, and leave the Kameawea fireball thingie white, for a nice glow effect.

Hmm, that's enough out of me.

i think his head is a little big, and he's in a pretty awkward stance his lower leg is too short compared to his upper leg, and its also pretty poofy...
