Hey all these are just some things iv been working on .. this is a page concept for school.. had to make a record lable web page .. so i whiped this up real quick .. still working on it ..


and this is another page im doing at work ..
its for the LA County beaches and harbors water youth program .. ( need less information to know but i feel like talking ) anyhow its for kids and stuff they wanted it kind of cartoon like so this is the demo page im working on .. tell me what you think http://members.home.net/maxball/water.html

I think a thinner/smaller header would help quite a bit. Height of approximately 100px is a usual standard for the header + button strip. Nice colors.

The second one u posted is pretty cool too

I was wondering if the white area on the right (the part with the chick) had any use, or just lying around useless... that wouldn't be good, now would that :).

The guy in the upper left corner doesn't sit there too well, the contrast on him is way stronger than on the rest of the site, so he really sticks out. I agree with the smaller header.
