people have a bunch of different views on what 666 actually means or represents; some believe 666 is the sign of man, and some believe 666 is the sign of the beast. in the king james version of the bible i believe all its saying is that, 666 is the mark and name of both the beast and the man.

in other scriptures 666 has different meanings, mostly good though (good being the opposite of evil.) i would have to say that if you rounded up all the references to the number 666 in religious scripture; the mass of it would see the number 666 as more of positive symbol than a negative one.
