My mom said the Green Mile was good, so it's probably awful. Bicentennial Man will most likely be another terrible "heart-warming" "family" Robin Williams movie.
If you haven't seen American Beauty or Being John Malkovich yet, check em out. Both incredible films. And if Princess Mononoke is playing anywhere near you, check that out too.

DISCLAIMER: the quote used above does not pretain too all movies and trailers...blah blah blah... |

Speaking of trailers....
My friends and I are all really competitive (don't ask me why, they're just like that) and we usually get 4 trailers at our cinema.
So we all decide what they're gonna be like before they begin in the order they appear, i.e. good, bad, bad, good. And at the end we see who was right, wrong or in the middle.
I know it's weird, but it's what we do!
Geez it sounds stupid...

Two words: Fight Club.
The most inventive movie of the year, if you haven't seen it yet, do so. The sight of Jared Leto getting pummeled is way too fun to pass up on. :P
BTW, the trailer kicks ass too.
If you like trailers, check out the trailer to Mission Impossible 2. John Woo does his thang. (www.missionimpossible.com)
Way cool.
A great site for movie news and trailers is www.darkhorizons.com

Sleepy Hollow was an excellent film, great artistic direction, you could randomly pic a shot from the movie and frame it. Definatly Tim Burton's best yet. See it.
The Green Mile was also pretty good, as long as you like that kind of story (Slower pace, more emotionaly driven, etc.) |

End of days is great if you don't go see it expecting a profound experience... It's so camp you just have to laugh.

I just saw a film called "Happiness" yesterday. You can get it on video. It's by Todd Solondz, the guy who did "Welcome to the Dollhouse". It was hilarious, but very shocking, and deeply disturbing to some. It's basically the portrait of a very fucked up community. If you've got a strong stomach for the underbelly of suburbia, definitely check this movie out.
