Lookin pretty good. The line weight is there.. could use a little refining, the crosshatching gets kind of simple.. looks like you lost alot of detail in the face with the ink. Reminds me of a Malibu comics style super hero the coloring looks a bit like he's underwater, sorta neat, try and stay away from blending in black, itll look like you blended in black take either a darker shade of a similar color or a surrounding color. Or even a contrasting color for darkening things in.. mixing with black is the enemy of all artists like painting teacher likes to say

still learning better skills in this area. I used photoshop, and used a base color (water like blue, then used hard edge paintbrush for a quick mix of color then blended with the airbrush with some falloff, starting blending with some lighter colors and then some darker colors such as a grey blue,
Should I stay away from any dark range color
nearing black in the glack grey range?
and what would be the best technique for banding type of coloring, Should I use a hard edge airbrush, start with a base color and work my way out from the center on the area I'm coloring?
I thought it was kinda cool to take a light color and brighten up the edges of the body to give some kinda contrast.
I like to hear some more comments.
And I'm feeling its time to a Tablet, my rist is aching from using my optical mouse.
Thanks for helping me out. It's like I have found something that had I lost.
****Just keep me away from my makers, People kinda get high on them things in closed rooms.****
ps
it's probably just me, but I like it clean, it gives that animation feel to it.

Well, i wouldn't say it improves skills, more like it makes things 50x easier.
The function of a mouse with the control and accuracy of a pencil. Mines not working, so it's back to the mouse for me.

I would like to here your opinion on color techniques..
Does using a tablet improve skill vastly?
