Here is one I took an afternoon to do (off and on).
I'm starting to enjoy this theme. Characters that are in the midst of important things, yet without a story. I have no idea who these people are. Just made em up.
Well, enjoy.
This time I'm looking for critques, so if you can help, it would be appreciated.
Thanks

Uh, damn you! To fast! Stop it. Slow down, prostinate fer god damnit!
Ok, ok.. looks realy nice.. great feeling about it, nice setting. The characters look pretty right on, i don't have much of a critique except slow-down-your-makin-the-rest-of-us-look-bad

Ey! Guy!
I have just arrived to this forum this weekend and I know your name better than mine!!!
Youre an omni-present member here!!!
And youre not only a great artist, your a great "reply-er" too!!!
I dont understand a thing about your picture... Who is the badguy-one...? hehehe, I was joking
Your domain of the charas expressions is awesome in this pic. Defines perfectly their own personality,
I love the stupid-evilish-expression.
I have no mistakes to mention in this drawing...
I dont know if you have in mind keep on with the background, adding details, it could help this piece to shine even more
A strange detail is in the bottom of the "hero" figure (The. Is it the shirt? if its I think its a bit too slim and long upper-body.
I hope you keep on with the hard work... As you can see we all see the results... and enjoy them.
---
I added my second picture (an98s one) to this forum, I will be very proud if you drop me a short comment)
As its in the same post you visited two days ago I considered that was a good idea tell it to you... Heres the direct link:

I hope you like it too...

See ya (sure) around the forum !!! |

man, you need to take a chill pill, hehe. No seriously, keep on doing it, you are improving like crazy by doing these pictures.
The picture looks great ! The characters are awesome ! I have nothing bad to say about them. The background could need some work though ? looks a bit flat, like if it was a big brass plate just behind them. It doesn't need to be detailed I think, I just have a bit of problems seeing what it is.

really cool
like that one a lot
it seems like a movie scene to me
agree with joachim can't exactly tell what the background is( -->cellar maybe?)
but it looks good as it is

Hey, really nice! Good pose in those cuffs. It has a certain comedy-mood to it (the exaggerated facial expressions), hope it's intentional. Reminds me of monkey island or something...
I think the heroes ear is a little low, though not impossibly low. Oh well. |

great image..like the bold strokes..strong shapes...bbbbut..there is ONE thing.
Both theire faces are in perfect profile.
But theire bodies are in perspective.
This is easy explaind by saying they are both looking at eachother, but seems a bit forced...makes a otherwise livly picture become a bit static...or you started drawing one face..and then the other..and thougt..what the heck..lets ad a body and background..I dont know. Anyhow..maybe make one of the faces turn a tad bit..so they are not both in the same flat dimension of profile.
Other then that..cool!

Wow, thanks for the comments guys. Didn't think it would get this many already.
Akira, just in response (and so it doesn't look like i'm ognoring your ideas): The perspective of the villians face, I purposefully turned it lightly towards us because he's looking back at something. As for the hero, the only reason his body is turned the way it is, is that he is trying to claw the mans face out with his hand, the strain is shifting his body weight.
Thanks again guys, any other critiques? |

Very nice picture, Isric! :P I enjoy your character style.. it reminds me of some legendary comp. games. The guy with the long hair has a nice glance.. like it a lot. It is very stuck up glance i think. Where do you get your ideas to the pics? Nice environment too. Keep posting funny and Isric-style pics!
