WHOA. That's really neat.
I'm assuming you had footage of someone (probably yourself) and then you overlayed the mask (motion capture?). The mask was probably done in 3dStudioMax. The fire is a particle system with a glow filter? Just guessing as to how you would do that.

I do some stuff in 3dStudio myself... as much as my pathetic resources will allow me. (Geez, I'm still in high school, what am I complaining about?)

Cool, we actually were playing around a did something similar, but it involved brooms and light sabers.

The fire looks like phoenix.

Cool!
But it definitely lacks one thing, HEADBANGING! =)
That would be soo much cooler..
Think about it, a guy with a flaming skull headbanging, couldn't get much better

And some critics, the skull doesn't seem to follow your head exactly.
I'm not too familiar to 3dstudio, so i dunno how hard it is to do that...

Thanks for the comments! Yea that is pheonix, awesome plugin probably my favorite. Yea the skull doesnt really cover the head at all times, wish i had some bluescreening software that'd be pretty damn helpful.

Nice man, very nice, I like how the quality is distributed, like the skull doesn't look like it's better quality, even though it probably was when u rendered it

Yea if anyone wants to know to get crappy quality renderings in max 3.1 under enviroment go to effects and add film grain then in the render properties change the antialiasing type to blur and that should work good enough
