Hello everyone, I'm a new user to this forum. My name is John Cleary and I am an artist/sculptor. Heres a bit of my info. I used to draw comics professionaly for about 8 years. I worked with companies such as Dc, Image, Malibu, Lightning and a few others.

Comics I have worked on included, Robin, Deadly Duo for Erik Larsen of Image, Boof for Todd McFaRLANE, Sinja, Four Kunoichi,(Creator owned comics I did) Hellina, Shadowhak.

I did special projects for Todd McFarlane such as a few Spawn Pinups, spogs and cards and Violator comic that came packaged with first Violator Action figure. Also did special work for Larsen, Jim Valentino and a few other companies.

Anyway that was my work in comics. I have since left the comic field and entered the world of Sculpting figures.

Now I am looking to get into digital art for fun. I have painter and I hope to learn it well enough to create some cool paintings. I might ask a few questions here and there. My favorite artists include, Vallejo, Ruyo, Frazetta, just to name a few, so I will more than likely focus on Fantasy art.

Well, I just wanted to introduce myself. Looks like you have a great forum here.

Well, My Comic page was taken down a a little over a year ago. I do have some of my Sculptures up at....www.darkstormstudios.com.

It hasnt been updated in a while due to my busy schedule with commisioned work.

I will post some comic pics soon just to show some of my past work.

Here is a commisioned sculpture Im very proud of. A Boris Karloff as Frankenstein.....

I know thats not digital art. But thats what I do now. When I create some digital art I'll post it.

I thought your name looked familiar. I think I might have seen some of your work on Robin. Anyways, welcome to the forum!

By the way, if you are looking for a good painter tutorial then check out Vebjorn's website.
