Had a thought to post this. On november 13th two of my friends and i are going to Sierra Leone for ten days. We'll be drawing portraits of people we meet and documenting their stories. afterwards, we'll bring the stuff back and sell it. I'm excited and yet know i need to practice a ton before then. There is something so amazing about the connection between the artist and the person getting their portrait done.
If you have no idea what's going on in s.l. look it up on the web. i had been oblivious until i had this oppurtunity.
