Yeah guys, I know Wacom questions suck, but well I even did a search but didn't find anything suitable.
Can anyone tell me where to get a Graphire in Germany for a good price ? The only place I know that has them is www.smm.de, they have the USB Graphires starting at 169 DM (~85 $). Strange thing is that they demand 169 DM for the colored Graphires but 199 (~100 $) for the grey Graphire. I don't think there's any difference except for the color.
Hmm. So what do you guys think ? That a good price for a Graphire ? Or do you know any place that has them cheaper ?
Oh yeah I also noticed they have different colors in Europe than in the US. Here's something for the collectors among you
Does anyone know whether the software from the US version is included in the European version as well ? I could REALLY use that free version of Painter.....
Oh yeah, and a warning: If I don't get any good replies I will post this in the Digital Art forum

Unfortunately i can not answer your question, but it is one I would also like to know. Currently I am living in Germany as well, and want to find a decent wacom(either intuos of graphire) just to mess around on the computer with.
Hopefully someone has an answer =)

my girlfriend just bought her wacom graphire in the karstadt-shop (you know it, dont you?) around the corner for... umm... *tryingtoremember*... i think it was something about 160 DM and painter is included but we havent tried it until now, so i dont know if its just a 30-day trial version or something like that.
as much as i know these special imac-like coloured tablets all cost about 180 DM. we bought the normal version.
greetings from nuernberg,

Hi Guys !
Those Graphire tablets are cool! Well, I dont know those 300DM tablets, but the Graphire is quite nice, I think !
As I bought such a tablet it was about 180DM and later I saw one for about 80DM !!!!
It was at shop called "Corso" !
I dunno if the shops are spreaded all over Germany, but they can be found somewhere in the North . I know there are some. |

Well I checked Corsos website and it seems they just sell stuff that a German mailorder company doesn't get sold, so I don't think they'll have Graphires in the near future. Too bad. $40 for a Graphire would have been a great price.

I had a look at it, but since they demand 9,90 DM for shipping you're still going a few marks cheaper with smm.de. Thanks for the link though.

In major shops in Germany you only can find Graphires - if you like to get smth. better you have to locate a dealer.
As for me I've found two firms in Mainz (where I live for 6 month every year) where it is possible to get Intuous models. |

Nex, I was at the mediamarkt, too but they said they don't have any anymore, but they didn't say they don't have them at all . But also if they had had one I didn't have the money to buy one.
