Been working on it for last 3 days on and off.

The background is fuzzy to contrast with the sharper image of Goku.

Crit it to death.

Hey, my brother is into Dragon Ball. He did some pictures, they were re-designs of the characters.
Here's young Goku from the origional Dragon Ball series

and here's his Goku re-design. I really like these a lot.

Wow - that first picture is fantabulous. Reminds me of Yoshi Story for some reason.

hey guys,

my Mom, girlfriend and sister are all teachers. They have all been recently telling me that their students are all into Dragonballz. Isn't this an old creation, what's up with the resurgence??? I'm not familiar with it, so I don't know, but I thought it was out as long time ago?

It was originally a Nintendo game, about 15 years ago, called Dragon Power. Bah. All these ungrateful kids with no idea of their roots.

Actually, Dragonball, DBZ and DBGT are older creations. I am not sure of the time frame, but they were created in Japan I believe late '80s, early '90s.

However, it wasn't until about a year or two ago that Cartoon Network started showing them in the US.

If wrong, somebody please correct me.

It actually began in the late 70's. Akira Toriyama, bless his soul (the creator). It is as old as old gets these days, but I guess its a good formula, cause people love it.

Hmm...nice pic. (top one)

Needs a bit more highlights in it to define the hair, and try pulling the head and neck to the left just a tad. But otherwise, very cool.

Isric: you should get your brother to join and start posting his own stuff! :P Nice work though.

StormVermin, I just saw this thread now, its looking pretty good but u forgot his eyebrows man.. These Saiyans have massive eyebrows dont forget

And yeah, DraagonBallZ is pretty old, like the episodes they are passing here now were done 10 years ago, maybe a lil more..
I still like watching it though
