Ahoy!
A new still life. The background is wholly digital. The candelabra is a scanned, coloured pencildrawing.
I am also glad to announce that my website is up! please pay me a visit. I would be very glad if you could give me some critique/feedback on the pictures and the text aswell (I dont know if my english makes any sense). http://www.freebox.com/simn
thank you.

Hi Simon,
Lovely, eerie image. The only thing I can suggest is to illuminate the space, and break the horizon line by adding a classic, worn out chair, or other prop.
I also took a look at your home page, great work man! The textural mood you convey is something I'm trying to do in my own stuff.

Hi Simon
Everything seems to be sectioned off horizontally, all lines are 180 degrees. You could, but you don't have to, add a compositional interest by adding a vertical element, like a staff or furniture. Adding a vertical shape somewhere will help lead the viewer's eye around the piece from top to bottom, and visa versa.
Hope this makes sense! If not just tell me =)
