My latest and greatest. I can't really explain the little orange thing in her hand, it just seemed neccessary(spl?). Hope you guys like it.
Doink!

Again, a beautiful drawing. Your skills are growing pic by pic.
Only two things stand out to me in this image. THe first is the left hand. THe fingers seem a bit small in scale, especially compared to the right hand. And the other thing is the mystery glow that is illuminating the left side of him. It is not doing anything with the rocks, so it is seems a bit decieving as to what and where that light source is. Anyhow, beyond that, this is really a beautiful image. Do you have some sort of water mark stamped all about the bottom of the image? |

Thanks a lot Fred. Your advice has not fallen on deaf ears. Apprectiate it.
As for the water mark, not quite. Since the Gabe Reiser incident I've been thinking about image protection. Fairly rudimentary, but it works for now.
Any other comments? |

Damn I like that! Cool stuff Isric!
I especially dig that little orange dude
I agree with the hands, also, a little touching up on the rocks would be nice.

Very nice, dude - and funny too.
Now if you just could give that rock some nice edges between light and shadow (meaning defining it some more - but just roughly - no little teeny-weeny cracks - just define the shapes some more, give it some hard edges) after putting in Fred's suggestions, you've got your masterpiece finished!
Have a good one,
Lokee

Isric, that orange thing is my kinda.. uh, orange thing, yeah! Loven it. "Milk-and-Cheese-o-riffic!"
Interesting elven character accompanying the orange thing too.
My critic is with the waterfall. While the smudge tool does indeed create the essence of falling water, certain ephemeral and neccesary elements must go with a waterfall, namely mist and wet rocks. If you add those things... it'll blow my mind!

Yeah, for the falls I used a general motion blur. Good advice though, I'll put those in whilst finishing the hands and rocks and light...oy! So much work... |

Is it me, or is there someone on the other side of the waterfall? Maybe an assassin or enemy looking for this person in hiding???????
Maybe it's just a fluke in the water pattern... OR IS IT?!?!?!? The suspense is killing me!!!
Heheh, peace!

I really love this, its wonderfully done and it tells a story. Only a few things I have for critique (didn't read the other posts so I may be repeating):
1. She looks like a he. You can add some subtle details like eyelashes (or just draw a triangular whisp at the end of each eye to specify eyelashes) or a necklace.
2. Her hair is a bit thin, as in it looks like she is balding somewhat.
3. She doesn't look like she's looking at the little orange guy, and I assume thats what you wanted.
Anyway, those are all very minor, but I thought they might help. Again, very nice image, I'd like to see more of this theme, keep up the good work.
