Hi,
I'm new here! Sorry if this is inapropriate to be asking here, but I am wanting to purchase a tablet. Could anyone recommend a type of tablet that I should get? I'm looking into getting a Wacom Intuos 6x8 Special Edition Tablet. Is this a good choice? Is 6x8 big enough? Also where can I find the best price? On their site I can get it for $329.00, does anyone know of a place where I can get good deals on one? Anyway I'm really interested in this stuff, and really new to it all, and would really appreciate anyone's help.
Thanks

I like my 6*8, but I take too many art classes wich use big paper, so I'm outgrowing it.... still, 6*8 is find for somone that dosn't draw on walls (IE under 2ft squared drawings) I think... depends on how you usually draw... |

I have the 6x8 intuos special edition an its awesome.. I got it from buy.com in august I think.. they had it for ~$270, which was awesome cause 1, they were one of the few vendors that actually had it in stock, and 2, it was cheaper than the regular version.. even tho the special edition looks cooler
Anyway, I recommend the tablet.. it works great.
Oh, btw, I'm taking art classes at college as well and tho I work with big paper and canvases at school.. I've never really noticed the tablet ever feeling too small or cramped.. should work out just fine for ya. |
