I just watched a kick ass documentary on Reynold Brown! It was on AMC, I think you can go to AMCTV.com to find out more about him. If it comes on again I'm going to record it. Man, this guys stuff is soooo AWESOME!
I wish we had stuff like this to watch when I was starting school. Damn that guy was impressive! You can honestly learn a whole lot from that documentary. I highly recommend trying to catch it on AMC, or try to order it if they offer a copy of it.
Anyone know if there are books on this guy?
Ok, the show is comming back on october 22! Go to amctv.com and check the monthly schedual. I promise, you will not be let down, this will be something you want to hold on to for a long time!
BTW, amc=amercian movie classics.
If anyone has any other info on Reynold Brown, please let me know.

That's the problem, as you probably know, poster artists of his time never signed thier works and usually worked for next nothing. The people who got all the credit where the art directors. So Everyone has probably seen his work, but never knew it was done by him. I'm sure all our parents/grandparents have seen his works, as he was the one and only person that was responcible for selling the movies of his time.
I just cant believe the stuff this guy has done.

The special will be re-aired on AMC on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 1:45 Eastern time for those that are interested, and for samdragon who wanted to tape it
