I believe dhabih has this site running on a friends server. At least I think I remember him mentioning that once. |

Hey:
did dhabih register for a server and host or is he hosting this site through his own computer?
I've been alot of forums, this one has the most registered users and posts and higest post rate as well. Good job.
by the way, dhabih owns www.dhabih.com www.dhabih.net www.dhabih.org
...
maybe more, this is all I know now, heheheh
this should be fun and cool. |

If you like to get perfect connection at home - try @home - http://www.home.com
They provide really good service that is quite cheap - less than $50/month for the 3 Mbps burstable up to 10 Mbps 7x24 cable connection without any traffic limitations. Unfortunately this service is only available in US and Canada but in your region you may find incoming only satellite connectivity providers. Even in Belarus you can use your modem with slow connection (56 Kbps) to send TCP packets and fast enough (from 600 Kbps to 2 Mbps) satellite connection to receive TCP packets. In Belarus it costs from $15/month (600 Kbps with HTTP/FTP only) up to $1200/month depending on connection speed and type of the service.
What about web-hosting I personally have choosen http://www.tera-byte.com (this month I'm going to put my own server into their network) - for $209/month you will get shared server colocation with 10 Mbps connection to server and multiple OC-3 connectivity to the network also without any traffic limitations. You will get own physical server (PIII-600,128MB RAM, 18GB HDD) running FreeBSD 4 or another OS. |

Damn... really, Dhab? I was going to get DSL and didn't think it'd be enough to run a server. I guess it is! I can't wait until they roll out near me.
