So it's Friday afternoon at my office. The office manager comes to me at 3:00pm and says, "Would you mind designing something for a t-shirt?" It seems my IT company is hosting a coffee bar at a computer conference in town here in nine days, and they want t-shirts for the coffee servers. That's great, but I have to finish the artwork by Monday morning, or the shirts won't be ready for Friday, before the conference.

I've come up with a couple of (comp) ideas, which are rough, but get the idea across. I think they suck, and I'm running out of time. Any suggestions from you creative types?

Do you have permission to use your companies logo? Try using it with some coffee ideas.
What's the name of your company?
You can do like a before and after with your company's logo. Have the logo all flat and slumpy and then show an (after the coffee) image of the logo all pumped up and whirling around.
what else...hmmm..
how about some big white eyed wired eyeballs..hehehe
how much money is your company willing to put into this? You may be limited to only one or two color. It would suck if you did this nice design only to find out you can afford to have it printed because it has too many colors.
ok..back to ideas...
you can show a keyboard with a big steaming cup of coffee for the monitor.
How about a mouse shaped coffee cup?
You can play off of the word WIRED, like wired for the net and wired from coffee...
My brain is still hurting from working on my project...I'll list some ideas that you can play off of.
YOu can work with the scale of objects, big mug, little person,
The out of context thing is always good, like the fish in a coffee cup.
humor is good too
abstract shapes and a nice catch phrase (sometimes this works, but not always)
You can design a t-shirt that looks like it has coffee stains all over it, or how about a mouse pad with coffee stains?

I've been where you are many times, so if what I did helps you out feel free to email me and I'll send you the .psd of it. I came up with this (it's simple, but that is usually the best approach)color version that works with a little spot color, or if they are not budgeted for color, it works as greyscale too. Since you said it was for an IT company, I tried to play off the ol' nickname for coffe and relate it to the computer field Anyways...

I'd go with something more like what Punkdewd is going for. Your shirt designs are too busy. Simple is always better.
