OK.. this was done by my girlfriend. and she wants to know were 2 go from here. maybe some help on adding a few more shadows or texture,.. any comments crits. the ref pic was from a maxim mag.

Try to avoid the black outline if you're aiming for realism. Block in the general shape in a solid color, rather than coloring in an outline. Then work on shading that form. |

Where to go? go? Don't go anywhere! SHe's awesome! I'm printing this out to put in my locker! Your _girlfriend_ did this? She must be extremely confident in her own body image! Kudos.
However, I agree with Tin. The lines will make people feel that the image is traced and then coloured like a colouring book. Although the colouring here is very nice.
As for a real answer to the question, I guess a suitable background would be good. A car wash, maybe? Um, with all those pockets, she must work for a telecom - perhaps she could be on a busy street adjusting one of those call box things. Or maybe a sewer? Hell, I think she stands quite well alone on a white background.

hey gene_sequence thx she is very happy u like it. Tinusch ya do you have any tips on painting with out the lines this was penciled and scaned in then traced over in Photopaint then colored on a layer set 2 multiply. any hints would be nice thx.. |
