This is extremely nice and extremely well done. I love the style and the mood. My only critic would be that the chin is a little narrow to me, a little too pointy, but that's only a personal thing I guess. A stronger chin would make him scarier to me. All the rest is very good. Nice choice of colors. |

WOW! That's the cooolest picture I've seen in a long time. Is it finished or are you giong to go back into it some more?
I like the proportions and color very well rendered. |

Great pic, great feel.. some things that caught my eye: the highlight on his left (our right) shoulder makes the body look flat, maybe shading it some more would bring more 3d to the image. And the wires aren't quite on the same level of detail as the face, hence they appear rushed.
Great colors btw

Very cool, Janne. Nice, simple style, expresses a lot in very few strokes. I really like the lighting as well. |

Yep, that's very nice as usual! I love the brush look - smooth, but definitely not airbrushed looking, the feeling of volume and depth is pretty sweet.
Hmm, good colors, maybe the purple in the shadows on his face could be even stronger in some places? That might go nicely with the pale greenish yellow tone. But I don't mean you should go back and change things, this looks perfectly "done" as it is.

Holy Shit!
That's amazing Janne!
I love the waxy feel you've given the flesh - perfect - and the creasing of the forehead is stylised elegance.
Great work, beautiful brushwork and modeling.

very nice. I'd leave the chin as is. small underdeveloped weedy characters are the ones who scare me the most Control freaks who are likely to do anything.

Great Pic! Love the feel and the mood. I would tend to agree with Black_fish though. The chin could be a bit larger, even if you're going for an 'underdeveloped' chin, I would shorten the neck a bit since it seems a bit long, and slightly decrease the size of the ears. Sounds like a lot of criticism, but its really not. Awesome work!

Very nice! The only thing looking a lil strange to me is the fact his face is fully lit while his body is not at all...maybe his torso should be at least slightly lit by the rays remitted from the face?
Just a thought... |

Thanks all! many good suggestions/crits. i guess i won't be working on this anymore(easier to start something completely new) but i'll keep them in mind and hopefully do something better next time.
agent44: i think it's pretty much done. i'm not much into detailing(finishing? ) things up.
Vortx: nope. i'm doing this just for fun.
sfr: yes, purple could(should ) be lot stronger. i think i'm still afraid of doing too creative decisions with color...
Frost: darn... is it still too slow? if it is, i have to seriously think about swithching my host.
