One thing i try to do is not limit my self to the human form when creating "creatures."

try laying a scribble or something down and then draw stuff from it. It may sound stupid but you would be suprised what you can some up with.

Awesome idea. I often create from the human form because it is something I know I can do.

But I'll probably come up with a lot more outrageous monsters using your method. Thanks for the advice. I may try a few sketches and see what I come up with.

Thanks!
BJ

Sorry for the loading time.

I came up with this idea real quickly a few days ago at about 2 in the morning and drew it real quick. The smeering is from me, I am left handed and it causes a bit of smudges unintentionally. It doesn't really matter because this is only my first step. I plan to ink it next and then color it with colored pencils and then do a few things in photoshop. I got a few good ideas for it. I'm not sure how I like everything.
Note that there is another half inch of art on the bottom that got cut off by my scanner. But it isn't much of anything anyways. Plus I was planning to take it off eventually probably anyways. There is also room on the right that got slightly cut off. I may scan it a little different after I ink the drawing. Hopefully inking will really emphasize a few things. I may alter a few images before inking the entire things as well. Especially because the guy in the background is not really supposed to be standing behind them, you'll see what I mean if I ever finish this thing!
Ohh and the guy in the background is actually supposed to be in the center not way off to the right. In the actual drawing his shoulders are equally apart from the edges.

I just need any tip for the 4 creatures. From shading to proportions, keeping in mind they are all freaks and creatures. So their shapes should be odd.

But any help would be appreciated before I start inking the hell out this thing.

Thanks!
BJ

Hey guys. I inked up this penciling I did and was wondering if you guys think it looks any better?

I'm really getting sick of looking at it, and am not really happy with the outcome, like it was a waste of time to ink. Just wanted to know your opinion about inking. And about the work itself. I was going to color it on photoshop but I'm tired of it.

I would love to get any feedback on this version it would be very helpful.

Thanks!
BJ

Nice you should colour it in now!
Then it'd be cool

Wow, cool!
This is my kind of pic

I like the three-headed guy(s) and the devil in the middle the most.
