hi gear very good work. I could't do something like that without getting mad.
The only thing I would change is the shadow.

about the shadow: looks like "outer-glow" in action . As the light is now , the lightsource must be very (extremely) close to the frog or the frog is way above ground...

WOw! that is almost photorealistic. Hmm, actually, it is as close as an artist needs to get detail wise!!!

I know what's up with the shadow... if you blur your vision by unfocusing while looking at the monitor... you'll see that the shadow does not seem to be cast correctly.

Like snubbenx says, the shadow was made as a glowing effect.

Right now, it looks as if the frog is sinking into a stretchy sheet of yellow plastic, hence the deep shadow under the torso. What you need to do to reach a photorealistic shadow is to cull what shadow you have... cull or softly erase it on the bottom sides of the legs and the top sides of the arms (as if the lightsource were directly above the frog)

Of course, if you're going for some spooky black glow/shadow effect ot whatever, don't change a thing, and I only suggest doing the above if you are aiming for very technical photorealism. This piece stands by itself well by concept and detail

Wow, some of the greastest complements I have ever received, thanks.

Originaly the back ground was just black, nice but not what I was looking for.

So I made up the background it has now.

That shadow thing still needs some work.

again thanks everyone.
