I've made a logo in Photoshop. Now I need to convert the image into a vector image so I can use it on letterheads, flash movies, and on the web.
Please help, as I have never done this before, and the help files don't help with this.
I have Flash 4, Illustrator 8, and photoshop 5.5
Regards,

Well, there's a "trace bitmap" option in most vector programs such as flash and freehand, but it never ends up with good results... the best way, from my experience, is simply manualy tracing the logo in your favourite application..I usually use flash- i put the logo in an empty layer, and then draw lines on a layer above this one.. once you get the basic shapes in place, tweaking it to fit the precise shape of your logo is rather simple. hope this helped in any way. |

yup...you're right. A little patience, and tracing it line by line does do the job.
thank you
