I am looking into applying to Ringling School of Art and Design.(Florida) Their Computer Animation curriculum is supposed to be very good. Anyone ever been there/heard anything good/bad about it? Thanks.

I heard they eat children, and keep midgets in cages. Then, when they need subjects for their figure drawing classes, out come the midgets wearing little plastic suits, greased up and forced to play on a little jungle-jim.

Florida schools generally have decent animation programs. The only one I really looked into was University of Central Florida, and it looked pretty nice (rather expensive though). And hey, anything that can get you closer to a co-op with Disney right?

i know a couple ppl that went to school there and they liked it well enough, although most of the pro's i know all came from savannah college art n design

I'm visitng Ringling October 20th (around). I'll put a post about it when I get back. From their website and what companies come and recruit, it looks pretty top-notch in the computer animation field. I'm not sure about illustration though. I'm toyed between the two, so I'm visiting it too get a feel...
