Hi all:

I have photoshop crashing about once every 3 hours or so. I recive a tiny bit of warning: I work with multiple viewports open, and when moving between them, the curser will apear to go UNDER one, instead of on top. If I am quick enough to notice, I can save and close Photoshop, other wise if I continue, I get fatal exception warning and system crash.

My system:

P2 400
224 MB ram
Photoshop 5.5
Wacom 12x18

I have my history set to 40 steps, memmory alocation to 75%, and my main hard drive is also my scratch disk. Running any other memmory hogs (Win Amp, for example) exaserbate the problem, so I susspect it is memmory related. I am not currently working on any HUGE files... they are clocking in at about 4.26 meg as PS documents.

Any Ideas?

Next Fatal Exception I need you to write the important text/numbers in the board.

It will say A Fatal Exception has occured in ####;############ at whatever.

I need to know the whatever part. That will usually give you a clue as to the location of the problem.

BTW, make certain you have all te latest drivers including direct X 7.0a. Many times drivers alone can solve that problem.
