Hey everyone.. back again with a new pic. There was some good criticism on my last pic I posted so I thought I'd post again to see what you can all suggest for this one.
This is a cd cover for a band called Minotar..

| Woot, that is super trippy! I just got the Minibosses CD ( http://www.minibosses.com ) and it has a cool CD cover too! So now I've seen two cool CD covers in one week... unprecedented! |

That looks awesome! The only thing I would change is the color of the Earth. I would make it a complimentary of the orange, or something blue.
You could also make it a darker red, or green if you didn't want it to stand out as much. It shouldn't be more distracting then the Minotaur logo.

Thanks guys..
Snake Grunger: I didn't really "draw" anything in that pic, except things like the texture/noise around the edges & background. The rest are photo scans, and actually that was a pic of me to start with I took with my digital camera.
Ben Barker: Hmm I actually tried blue and green for the earth, but I thought they stood out too much and it was kinda ugly with the oranges. I turned it greyscale and it looked good and seemed to go well with the orangr, but I added a bit of yellow into it to help it blend in better.
Visigoth: technically, yes it's "Minotaur" .. but the band is called "Minotar" .. *shrug* .. I'm just the artist. hehe.. they designed their own logo too. |

Your pic is alright, but I love the Minotar text, its brilliant, with the horns and shit .. good job.
