I would define the eyes and mouth a bit more. Maybe add better contrast to the whole body by using some brighter colors like the hair thingies. I would add something to the background, like Icannon suggested, but don't put too much detail into the background, as it might blur the focus of the picture, which is the guy of course

I disagree with Icannon, I think it needs more "umph" to the foreground. The background is too loud for how subdued the character is. Perhaps strengthen his colors or move him higher in the picture. Remember the rule of thirds...

amazing a lens flare? this image was done with tradional water colors the scaned into photoshop. the only thing I did to it in photoshop was to duplicate the layer and set the top layer effect to difference and lower the opacity a little. ---------lens flare ehhehhehehheh thanks. |
