Hi all....
Been trying to get a better grip on doing nature stuff. I've been doing characters for waaay to long. So I decided to do something about that and sat down tonight infront of the screen while everybody else was out there dancing....
It's not perfect but I've believe that I really learned some pretty cool techniques doing this. And It was pretty fun doing it also which is not bad at all.... I still have to figure out how to easily enhance texture...I really don't want to do it the hard way....lazy bum that I am.....
oh yeah...the sense of scale is pretty much f*** up since this is really supposed to be an extreme closeup....enugh talking....

I like the style used, what program was used? Im guessing Photoshop, but further more what tool(s) was used? Im interested in knowing because I like the way the rocks look, as well as how they blend in with the snow -

Tinusch- hehe...thanks
Feklore - yes. It's Photoshop. As usual I use the paintbrush for 99% of the work and just bland in the colors with a brush set at lower opacity.
Sa'ge - yeah... Like I said it was done saturday night and just as a test. It's supposed to be of a bigger pic, hence my note on a closeup and I would reckon this frame to only be 2-5% of the final pic...Not that I'm working on the rest though...
thanks for replying guys...
