Hmm.. I usually keep this forum minimized or in a small window, and I hit refresh lotsa times.. rather sick, I know, heheh. I get lost in irc, and people who start spelling everything with numbers and symbols become a little... uh.. annoying.

Joachim, Micke, and Fred do some really nice figure drawings. Try checking out some of their threads. They might have posted them on their websites, too, but I haven't checked so I don't know. Might wanna try there first.

The "official" IRC channel is #digitalart on EFnet.

A lot of people use the paintbrush for coloring in PS. It seems to have the best control and versatility. Try just laying down a solid midtone and using the paintbrush on low opacity to lay down different shades and give it depth.
